From the backstreets of Florence to tiny bakeries across Tuscany, we travelled Italy tasting the finest schiacciata sandwiches — the humble, golden, olive-oil-kissed flatbread that has fed generations. What began as a simple Tuscan staple became an obsession: the crackle of the crust, the soft airy crumb, the way it carries bold flavours without ever stealing the spotlight.
We came home to London with a mission:
bring that same Tuscan soul to the city, but give it a London edge.
