Ciao! We are Santo Cielo, creators of authentic schiacciata sandwiches here in London.

After travelling around Italy for a summer in search of the perfect sandwich, we finally reached Tuscany and instantly discovered the holy schiacciata. We fell in love with this iconic Tuscan flatbread: golden and crispy on the outside, soft and airy within.

We were hooked from breakfast to dinner and we thought London should be too.

 

We bake our schiacciata fresh every day at our bakery in Islington and partner with the UK’s top producers for premium fillings, from sustainable cheesemakers Fratelli Amodio to the charcuterie experts at Coombeshead Farm.
